China Electronics Materials Industry Association was established on Nov, 15th, 1991. It approved by the National Bureau of civil administration ,is one of the first-class National Social organizations. China Electronics Materials Industry Association is a national industry organization with the manufactures and dealers and other related units. It operates directly under the guidance and leadership of Ministry of Information Industry and implements the tasks entrusted by the government.

Purposes and tasks of CEMIA
China Electronics Materials Industry Association commits itself as following purposes and tasks:
* disseminate the government policies and submit to the government suggestions;
* reflect the members requirement and serve as the bridge between the government and the enterprises;
* study of important policies of science and technique as well as supervising and examining the quality standard of the products;
* protect the legal rights and interests of members and work out the industry regulations;
* Conducting research and investigation on problems in member enterprises;
* promote the cooperations and communications among related cooperations and organizations at home and abroad.

Members of CEMIA
China Electronics Materials Industry Association members totals up over 400, distributed all over the China Main land. All electronic material enterprises and other related units will become members with the approval of the association upon application.
